Text Box: TEAM NEWS A 2-1 win away over Wickham Market Reserves A first class goalkeeping performance from Anthony Cole (Afroe) who pulled of some great saves. a solid defensive performance from Josh Birkes , Craig Watling on his debut for the club, Darren Darrell Frappell and Mark Dye also making his debut today, a battling performance from the midfield of Dean Gridley , Captain Marvel Blake Richards, Danny Blanco Perez and Andre Wilson, and a non-stop running performance from the to strikers Adam Hewitt and Luke Johanneson. The 2 subs Jack Paton and Jamie Brown played their part when they came on. Going 1 0 down in 45 + 2 minute reminded me of the Felixstowe game when we went on to loose 6-0, a couple of changes at half time moving Gridley up front and bring Brown on at right midfield, the Wickham defence could not handle the pace of Gridley. The equalising goal came from the head of Captain Marvel Richards and he was involved in the winner, Richards took the free kick that Hewitt diverted into to the bottom corner  . A really good team performance again by all. Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup Some positive news at last. A 1 0 win over Ridgeon's reserve league Long Melford in the Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup. The first clean sheet of the season for Merrill clarke who pulled of some great saves. a solid defensive performance from Karl Lawrence, Danny Taylor, Darren Crummie and Jack Paton, a battling performance from the midfield of callum Lee, Blake Richards, Darrell Frappell and Mark Theobald, and a non-stop running performance from the to strikers Adam Hewitt and Jamie Relph. the 2 subs Andre Wilson and Luke Johanneson played their part when they came on. the wining goal was scored by Jamie Relph. A really good team performance by all. Framlingham Town Reserves away in the next round on 3rd October
